Nestled in Portishead’s Quay Marina enjoy beautiful views as you dine, drink and unwind at our contemporary pub with a vibrant games room. Creatively built from converted shipping containers, our pub’s interiors mix industrial chic with creature comforts. Join us for relaxed lunches on our nautically inspired outdoor terrace or sumptuous roast dinners and delectable evening meals. We love welcoming everyone, including your four-legged friends in our downstairs areas, so feel free to drop by for a coffee or stay for dinner – everyone is welcome at H&W Portishead.

The kitchen caters for all kinds of hungry — sharing platters for the indecisive and overly sociable, home comforts for the creatures of habit, through to sumptuous Sunday roasts for the roast potato connoisseurs.
Vegetarians, vegans and dietary adventurers shall not be left to nibble on side salads alone. The menus are as inclusive as they are indulgent. All served with table-side cheer and never compromising on deliciousness.

Upstairs from the bustle of the main bar lies The Games Room: a sanctuary for the sportingly spirited. From glistening shuffleboards to interactive darts and fiercely-fought table football, it’s all to play for at The Portishead. The victory of your win tastes almost as good as the beers.
Whether you’re vying for victory or simply playing to pass the time, it’s all delightfully curious and unexpectedly addictive. The perfect place for date night, fiercely competitive friends and family gatherings or just unwinding with a tipple.

You’re guaranteed a decent brew at Hall & Woodhouse Portishead, because we take making coffee just as seriously as we take pouring the perfect pint. Our ‘Rocket Espresso’ is an 100% Arabica blend from our friends at Extract Coffee Roasters, who work with a co-operative project benefiting families in Peru. It’s delicious as well as ethical, with a natural sweetness complemented by full-bodied notes of chocolate and caramel.

Drink in the taste of the Dorset countryside by sampling our Badger beers, which were first brewed by local farmer Charles Hall in 1777. Created from hops, malted barley, and pure spring water that’s naturally filtered through the chalk downs of Dorset, they’re a firm favourite. At H&W Portishead, we offer a full, distinctive and delicious range, including our new Outland beers, which are imaginatively flavoured, and far from ordinary.
